The major freighter types range from the enormous Antonov AN-225 listed here, to the far smaller Cessna 208 Cargomaster described in the Utility Freighters sub-section. Many freighters are developed from passenger airliners like the Boeing 747-200F. They have large main deck cargo doors allowing them to load palletised or containerised cargo.
